Zuñi Innoculative Magic is PL OK. Weird, though. What odd things people have believed or do believe is totally amazing.
Clairvoyance with Cards is PL OK. I wonder if it would be helpful to include the book title and chapter in the intro, as in "Clairvoyance with Cards, Chapter VII from The Art of Magic, by author? I always like to know such things. Up to you, it's just a thought. They will have the text link if they land on the LV catalog page.
Both interesting additions to the collection. Thank you.

I lifted this from Chapter 10, of Plant Lore, Legends, and Lyrics by Richard Folkard (published 1884)
https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/44638
This author is not in the LV database, but I could find NO information about him.
Hope this fits here.

Magic Wands is PL OK. Thanks Larry. The whole of Chapter 10 is worthy of adding to some collection or other. I may submit it to Non-Fiction if you don't beat me to it, except that maybe it being "lore", it won't fit in there!

Well, I did think about doing the whole chapter, but it is a bit daunting with all of the plant names, etc. The whole book could be a project, but I've got a long list of other projects on my list. I think any chapter would fit in nonfiction.
Did you get my essay submission?

Chapter 10 would not fit into a 15 minute file, so I will go ahead and put it on my list of things to read for non-fiction. Thanks.silverquill wrote: ↑March 13th, 2024, 11:39 am

No, I didn't get notification of your essay submission yesterday. Seeing it now. I have subscription issues sometimes. I will unsubscribe, and resubscribe, as usual.

The Blue Flower and A Handful of Clay are both PL OK!
WOW, your tech specs are good, your audio sounds full and clean, no errors to fix, and you sound great! That's an A++++ right out the gate.
Welcome to Librivox, Nick.
Please look thru our Readers Wanted forums and see what is out there to read, or find stories of your own to submit to our very popular Collections. We have a bunch of those -- Non-Fiction, Essays, Ghost and Horror, Sci-Fi, First Chapters, etc. There is a place for just about any PD material you might want to read. Also check out our ongoing weekly and fortnightly poetry projects. It's a literary feast to enjoy every day.
Now, as to your stories, I dream a lot and find them mysterious and magical. I'm also a potter who digs my own clay, and I can attest that making a vessel from a shapeless lump of mud is purely magical!
Housekeeping notes: For future reference, we usually drop the a's and the's from our filename titles, and keep it to 1 second of silence at the Intro and 5 seconds at the end. Each project may have slightly different requirements set up by the Book Coordinator (BC) in charge of the project, so be sure to scour the First Post carefully.
