Hi Michele,

Thank you for the wonderful constructive feedback! I wanted to make sure I did all the work from recording to processing so I am really grateful and happy about the feedback!

There is magic almost everywhere if we have the "eye" to see it :D

Looking forward to many more projects - and I'll definitely check out the poetry!

I am in the process of processing/editing a Jack London story call "Love of Life" any idea where would be a good place to post to?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

The story you mentioned might fit best in the Short Story Collection 109, which you'll find in the current Readers Wanted - Short Works forum. But if it's a murder mystery or a sci-fi tale, it might fit better in one of those.

One of my new favorites is the First Chapter Collection (nothing open now), where you can submit the first chapter of a book you'd like to popularize, or a chapter you think stands out as a sensational piece of writing. Also, I just began BC'ing the Essays Collection #2, for any PD essays you'd like to read/orate/pontificate on/publicize. These can include chapters from books where each chapter is a stand-alone essay, such as in Four Hundred Years of Freethought

I've got several more for you, Michele. If it's too many from one reader, just let me know :)

Sawing a Person in Half by A. Hazelton Rice, Jr. (????-????)

The Magic Legacy ran just a little over 15 minutes. Hopefully, it is still short enough to be included. If not, I'll resubmit it over in the short story collection :)

WOW! Thanks, Elsie. I look forward to listening. :D

15:30 length is fine, even up to 18 minutes has been accepted. BUT, if ever you need to squeeze in under the wire, you can use the Tempo effect in Audacity to shave off a minute or two. You can bring an hour long file down to 53 minutes using Tempo +6, with no detrimental effect to quality except talking a little faster, or -6 to talk a little slower. It's one of my favorite effects, but anything above 10 and I discovered a noticeable loss of quality if you try to go back to the original.

I certainly want to know how to saw a person in half, alas I can't find the story. Can you cite a page #, please?

I've been away for quite a while, and super happy to be back and able to contribute to a short works collection again!

Here is "Magic of Double Exposure Explained by Cameramen" by Anonymous, from the New York Times of November 15, 1925:
