Memoirs of the life of Anthony Benezet, by Roberts Vaux (1786 - 1836)
The Memoirs of the life of Anthony Benezet is a compilation celebrating the life of one of the first truly influential abolitionists during the period of transatlantic slavery. Benezet is regarded by some historians as the "Father of Atlantic Abolitionism" (M. Jackson) and he would influence later abolitionists and had personal correspondences with Benjamin Franklin and Granville Sharp, among others. (Summary by progressingamerica)

Hi,
I'll MC this for you. I added the ~ to find a prooflistener. If you are going to be the DPL, let me know.
Thanks,
Amy

I’m super new here, but I’d love to lend my voice.

Shall I just start t’readin’ or do I edit the post and claim the chapters I want?

I would rather do the whole thing but I don’t know if that’s protocol or what.

Also delete if I’m out of line.

Thanks

Hello Jim! Happy Independence Day! Welcome to LibriVox. If you would like to claim the preface and start recording it, that would be excellent.

These 3 sections are assigned to you. Thank you.

Note, this book does not have structured chapters that many books normally have, I am segmenting the book based on page numbers, expected audio length, and logical content breaks that I can see on the pages.

I won't go any further until I see if these meet muster.

thanks!
Hello Jim,

It's alright if you want to record other sections. This book does not yet have a Dedicated Proof Listener(DPL) yet, so it might be some time before they are reviewed. Some books do not get a DPL until they are close to being completed.

Also, when you are providing the upload link for completed files, consider also mentioning how long each file is in recording time. In this instance file 00 is 3:45 and 01 is 2:14.
