Hi Nichole. This project already has a database entry. We could have just used the original thread, but since you have already posted this one, that's fine. Give me a few minutes and I'll make the necessary changes in the database.

BrianFullen was the original PLer for Hope's solo. You could check with him and see if he wants to continue with your group project.

Oh, sorry! I thought the instructions on the abandoned thread said to create a new thread. I'll keep that in mind if I pick one up again.

Hi Hope, not sure if we'll hear from you again, but just in case I PL'd your preface!

00:00 please add about half a second before your voice starts
00:15 add "Lynn" [also, I think I'd like the recordings to call the author E. Lynn Linton since that's the way it's published. This edit is optional.]
01:10 "help" is pronounced "hope"
02:41 the author signed their name "E. Lynn Linton" instead of "Elizabeth Lynn Linton"
02:47 please add 5 seconds of silence to the end of your recording

You also might look at https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Noise_Cleaning and play around with how the Noise Reduction feature in Audacity works. I think it could help you with the whirring in your background.

If we don't hear from you within 2 months I'll release it for rerecording.

I hope you're well, Nichole

I sent BrianFullen a message but have not yet heard back from him. I would very much appreciate help from one or many PL's for this project, I am not sure how that sign-up process works.

If Brian isn't interested or available to DPL, we will add a ~ in front of the thread title to let prospective PLers know the project needs a DPL. Finally, you can post a Listeners wanted ad in the Prooflisteners Wanted forum.

Since you're DPL I can PL these for you so there are two sets of ears on it, if you'd like.
