The Home of the Echoes, by Frank W. Boreham (1871 - 1959)

Volunteers outside the USA: Frank W. Boreham died in 1959. This person's work may still be protected by copyright in countries where copyright duration is determined by the author's death date. In Europe this is 70 years; in Canada it is 70 years for authors who died after 1971; and in Australia it is 70 years for authors who died after 1955.
Frank Boreham was a well known preacher who served in England, Australia, and New Zealand. He published dozens of books and thousands of editorials during his lifetime, with no sign of slowing down, even up until his death at age 88. He wrote with a distinctive style, seeming to be able to draw a spiritual lesson out of any conceivable topic.

In this collection of eighteen essays, Boreham explores what it means that deep calls unto deep, as well as a number of other subjects from kingfishers to arm chairs. (Summary by Devorah Allen)

Well, I was about 8 minutes too late to snag DPL, but I'd like to read a few.
How about Sections 1 and 10 to begin?

Sections 2 & 13 please. The Kōtare is one of my favourite birds—despite their calls disturbing my recording sometimes. And I grew up just over the hill from the town of Mosgiel.

Welcome! I see that you've already submitted your one-minute test. I just went and checked it for you. You still have one minor kink to work out, but I think you shouldn't have any trouble with that.

How would you like to be credited in the catalogue? You can use your real name, forum name, or some other pseudonym. I've assigned these two chapters to you. Let me know if you have any questions.

Excellent recording. I really enjoyed listening to your reading of it with the different voices, etc. PL OK.
