Hello, Elsie,

Just two notes on Section 5:

~16:54 (A very minor thing I'm not sure about) I can hear: "...Eturka-lamma, the temple of Annu, Ninni, and Dana, the suzerains of Kish..."; the text says Nana. I thought you might be correcting wrong spelling from the book, anyway I'm aware this is just standard proof-listening and I only mention it in case it is important for you.

~19:00 (I think I can hear an intrusive "of" that could perhaps be edited out) I can hear "Footnote: Content dated 'the year of the Tigris - the river of the gods -was canalized' ". Anyway, it could be left as it is likely missed in the flow.

I'm loving this book!

In the first instance, I do not think that one was me fixing the spelling of a word. There are some misspellings that I have to go check a scan on archive to see what it should be.

I am so glad you are enjoying it! I expect once I am done with this volume I will move onto volume 5 if you are interested in DPLing for that one too (it's ok if you are not)

I got 4 more sections for you to listen when you have time. I finally reached the end of chapter 1
