Anthology of Magazine Verse for 1915, by William Stanley Braithwaite (1878 - 1962)

Volunteers outside the USA: William Stanley Braithwaite died in 1962. This person's work may still be protected by copyright in countries where copyright duration is determined by the author's death date. In Europe this is 70 years; in Canada it is 70 years for authors who died after 1971; and in Australia it is 70 years for authors who died after 1955.
William Stanley Braithwaite, a talented poet in his own right, was most notable for his anthologies of poetry including these annual collections that spanned at least twelve years from 1913 to 1924. These were composed of poems written in that year, and included a wide range of poetry from classical to avant-garde. As an African American, he also included many selections from other African American poets. He is recognized as a significant publisher of Harlem Renaissance poets.
This volume includes poets such as Robert Frost, Vachel Lindsay, Amy Lowell, Sara Teasdale, Louis Untermeyer, Edgar Lee Masters, James Weldon Johnson, and many others. A special feature of this volume are several dramatic, collaborative presentations including Robert Frost’s “The Death of the Hired Man,” Vachel Lindsay’s “The Chinese Nightingale,” and “Gayheart” by Dana Burnet.

Well, we'll see, but thanks for taking this under your wings.

As in the last issue, we will be doing half a dozen of these poems as collaborative projects. I think the results were quite impressive, especially Vachel Lindsay's Firemen's Ball.

I haven't got the scripts prepared, but once they are up, I'll add sections at the end for the individual parts which can easily be deleted at the end. We'll have a link to the scripts when they are ready. Redrun is going to help with some of these again. I've claimed those sections for now to hold them.

Anyway, are ready for readers.

Thanks again!

Hi, Alan!
I'm not sure I had the MW completed before you claimed these, so please check to see that you got the right ones.
I was busy, writing my note and adding a special reader note to the head post.

Thanks, but just one correction needed; it was 79 I wanted (the Night Court). You’ve given me 75.

Cheers,
Winnifred
