Would you believe that I logged in to record something short just 15 minutes or so after silverquill reminded me that I had checked out Section 19 in May 2023?

Well, this is a little orphan.
It is one of my favorite Frost poems, but I've recorded it for another project so wanted to get a different voice.
My quick, but longer than expected, trip to New Hampshire gave me a view again of birches bent over by the snow. Stunningly beautiful. Enjoy!

Thanks for this, Mike!
Only one thing needs to be corrected.
The sampling rate is 48,000 Hz and LV recordings need to be 44,100 Hz

Changing the sampling rate is a process that seems to elude us. After some trial and error, I did manage to get this into shape, so I've marked it PL OK.

Thanks for your contributions!

Hi Larry,

Just wanted to raise my hand and offer to help with anything here if needed. Really enjoyed working this project.
I guess I will always have fond feelings for it as it was my first. :)

Thank you!
Robert

Oh, wow!
Thanks, Tricia. That was a long introduction.

I'll get those other poems going soon.

Thank you.

One of my favorites. Was just back in NH to work on our place there to get ready to sell, and it has a classic view of just these birches he describes. Of course, our place is not that far from his New Hampshire farm, which is open to visit and wander through.

Bet the trees are just gorgeous in the autumn. I hope I did an okay job on the poem. I enjoyed reading it.

After a much, much too long hiatus, I've completed scripts for a handful of poems that we will be doing as little "dramatic readings." Volunteers have come forward to take all of the parts, with just a couple of small roles needing male voices with some French. I've sent for help. If all goes well, we should be able to wrap this up by the end of the month.
