Hi there! Val here, happy to join you! Reading to people has always been one of my favorite activities, I've been doing it whenever I have a willing audience since I was a kid, and now at 41 I have multiple weekly sessions reading to online friends and my niece (and read more haphazardly to my mom on the days I'm not doing those)! At one point I wanted to be a professional voice actor when I grew up, but honestly, I think I enjoy it this better.

I'm American (DC area), but I will Do the Voices as a matter of principle, and a lot of my favorite books are Brit lit, so I have tons of practice with RP and a good amount with other accents, mostly but not exclusively British, and will do my best to learn any new ones that come up. In particular, I have of late been practicing my Shakespearean Original Pronunciation, so if there's anything Elizabethan that you'd like a recording of (approximately) as it would have been pronounced back then, I would be delighted to provide that!
