I know who my MC is for my current project. But how do I know who my BC is for the same. I've been trying to get an answer for my question about reading footnotes, and I was told to ask the BC.

I know what those both stand for.

The BC of any project is the person who made the first post in the thread. (There may be a few exceptions, but let's not worry about those for now.)

I'm assuming this is the project you are referring to

Your BC is Timothy Ferguson

There are various reasons why you may not get an immediate answer to a post in a project thread - differences in time zones, outside commitments, priorities in real life, etc. Please be patient. We are all volunteers. :)

That's just the thing! I address my question to Timothy, and he said he wasn't the BC, only the MC. What do I do?

If you mean you sent a pm - you sent that one to me. And I'm your MC.
Cheers, Ava.
