And I guess I should have said that the "join" is at about 25:50. Can you make my voice lower ? For a little bit it sounds as though a different, much younger, person is reading In retrospect, I should have backtracked a bit and read a few paragraphs to warm up. Let me know if you want me to do some re-recording. Gulp.smijen wrote:Oh, I guess I should've said the spot checks were lovely!
Yarnbeagle, when/if you PL this one, do you want to let me know if it's too distracting? I may be able to amp/deamp/etc.

Hmm... I see what you mean. Not a simple volume adjustment. Personally, I think it's OK. Let's see if our MC or dedicated PL'er have anything to say. If not, let's go with it.

Thanks for the input. I listened again, and after a minute or so, was back in my usual "voice", and, giving myself the benefit of the doubt, thought it was "OK". HOWEVER, I'll be happy to try to fix it if you wish.smijen wrote:Hmm... I see what you mean. Not a simple volume adjustment. Personally, I think it's OK. I haven't given section 22 a listen yet, but I'll add my opinion about the join when I do.
Sections 32, 43, and 49 are all ok!

Thanks, Debbie and Lucy.
EDIT: Chapters 6 and 98 have been orphaned. If anyone's looking for another non-recipe chapter, snap them up!

There's honestly no such thing as a stupid question -- but I'm afraid I can't rule out giving a stupid answer : : To Posterity and Beyond!
Man, y'all just rock! My eyes were SO much bigger than my...uh...microphone when I signed up for a jillion chapters (like 6 and 98 and all) - this newbie SO couldn't take it. Nice to see it all absorbed with no problems. Y'all are totally my heroes!

You have such great taste in chapters, Erin.
