Marie Hedderwick-Browne was born in Ireland, but spent her formative years in Glasgow, Scotland, where her father, John Hedderwick, was a prominent member of the literary world. This volume of poetry reflects here Scottish heritage, and poems of nature and sentiment, including "In An Old Churchyard" and "Wee Elsie" written in Scottish dialect. (Summary by Larry Wilson)

Intro to recording:
Leave 0.5 to 1 second of silence at the beginning.

Say:
"[Poem title], by Marie Hedderwick-Browne, read for LibriVox.org by [your name]" or some variation on that, adding date, location. etc., if you wish.
• Then read the poem.
• At the end, say: "End of poem. This recording is in the public domain." and leave five seconds of silence.

Shall I attempt some of the Scottish dialect poems for you. The ones I have spotted so far are:

Wee Elsie
Bide Wi' Mither
Granny's Bairn
Wae's Me
The Reason Why

I don't think In An Old Churchyard is in dialect but I would quite like to read that one as well. Unless of course you want to read these.
