PaulWelford wrote: October 17th, 2023, 3:10 am I think you mis-pronounced a word five times in the last verse of section 7 Po' Boy Blues. If it was just the way you say it I'd leave it alone (per LV rules) but in the last / sixth instance you pronounce it correctly. The correct word is weary but I hear reary.
- Ready for Spot PL at 1:07
-Last verse was re-recorded. I tried have over-pronounced the word as "wee-ry" so it didn't sound like "rear-ee".
Thanks for the effort. PL OK

Great. Fabulous reading. As I requested before, please can you change the status in the MW to ‘ready for spot PL’ when you make changes in response to PL notes?
- Metronome removed (copied and pasted 5 secs of silence from earlier in the recording).
-Saw the "ready for Spot PL" note and corrected it, sorry about that.
The metronome was in section 12 but you’ve tagged the PL notes for section 4. This would be irrelevant except that the end of 12 now has a more intrusive clicking noise than before so I’m concerned that you’ve mixed up the files in reality as well as in the PL notes.
I checked section 4 (Suicide) and Section 12 (New Cabaret Girl), and both poems are correctly labeled. I played both files and they match.

Section 4- I had removed the extra "done" and originally labeled it as "ready for PL", then I saw your note about "ready for spot pl", which is why I changed it to that. Sorry for the confusion.

Section 12- I still didn't hear the clicking noise, but I just deleted the 5 seconds at the end. I copied the last 5 seconds from Section 1 (since it's already "PL Ok") and pasted it at the end of Section 12, if that makes sense.

Both are PL OK now thx. I see you’ve dropped some more sections without posting about them so I’ll check them too while I’m here

Sorry for the delay. I'm working thru all of these just now. No new PL notes: all great readings. However I still think you ought to reconsider the length of these sections. I just did Section 26: Shout and out of a 46 second track, only 10 seconds are section content - the other 36 are intro and outro. That's a horrendous ratio to plough through for reader, PLer and listener.

I might simply "group" the poems together based on the chapter (all poems for "Blues", all poems for "Railroad Ave", etc). I still have all of my raw Audacity project-files, so it should ideally be a simple cut-and-paste thing.

Ha Ha, thanks. I tried to just read that one at first, but it sounded too dry and boring.

I combined Sections Zero thru 8 (A Note on Blues thru Homesick Blues)

The naming-convention is purposely incorrect and it's currently listed as Section #64 right now, because I wanted to get your feedback in case it's needs additional editing.
