You might need another shot of that moonshine to listen to these ...reflections!
Thank you,
Brize

Hi Claire -

Another of your really good readings. My only comment is that at the closing, you called it "section 6" instead of "section 8". That's all!

Betsy
I love how I picked a random number to end the recording *facepalm* Fixed! Run time should be the same :)

Good reading, Brize. (Too early in my day for many bottles. I'll wait till dinnertime!) Just one item needs correction:

At 31:05
You mispronounced “Sicilian” as if it were spelled “Silican”. Use this link and click the speaker button to hear the corrected pronounciation.

Thanks for more fine PLing, Betsy. I actually knew how to say that word (the American way anyway) but sometimes my mouth goes 'rogue' on me and 'murders' a word like that. Then my ears act like those backwoods lawmen and ignore it or tell my mouth to 'hide out'. Thank goodness for outside 'prosecutors' like yourself to restore justice to my recordings! Guilty as charged!

(i fixed it to the American way, of course, fearing that Anglophones may not follow it I tried the Italian pronunciation.)

Section 16, 'Who Are the Mountaineers?' enclosed, spanning 32:40:

https://librivox.org/uploads/alg1001/oursouthernhighlanders_16_kephart_128kb.mp3

I have some 'bunny business' I need to take care of over in RW Short Works, so I will leave that final wrap up chapter unclaimed for now. Perhaps somebody else would like the honor of pulling all this interesting material into a neatly concise conclusion. I'll check back in a week or two in case nobody does. (I sure hope they have internet connections by now 'in them thar hills' and at least those folks can listen to this recording when it's done...poking fun at my dialogue no doubt)

Thank you,
Brize

Oops, Checker let me slide on section 16, above, with a one-sixth of a second opening silence. I like to get it closer than that, so I upped it to six tenths of a second, and re-uploaded:

https://librivox.org/uploads/alg1001/oursouthernhighlanders_16_kephart_128kb.mp3

Still rounds to 32:40.

Thanks,

Still no takers for 17 huh? I can't believe it, highlanders are so REAL! Well, it appears I have a little break in the action at another title, so would be glad to slip 17 in, just to get this title out there and available. Sign me up please!

Hi Brize,
Thanks for taking Section 17! This is nearly a solo of yours. It will only be fitting for you to read the last chapter.
Finally, we will move to Readers Found.
