I have a little issue. I am aware that proper names can largely be pronounced as one wishes. However, I have been pronouncing the family name "Whaley" as if it were "Whatley" (corrected in the most recent chapter.) There is no way that can be correct. The question: Should I go back to all of the earlier chapters and make the correction? I would imagine there are 25 or so uses, across many chapters----quite a job. Yeeks!

I would say, no. Few will notice and even if they do notice they will still know who you are referring to. Even with good editing, all those edits would be very noticeable.
