One of my favourite critters too, especially the little brown bats. There's a church across from our house that was closed for many years and there were many many of them flying around. Once the church was reopened, they drifted away

I think there was a mistake too when this chapter was scanned. At 15:49 it seems like a repeated introductory sentence. I tried to read it with a wrap-up feel but not sure it worked. Tell me what you think and it's an easy edit to trim out.

Not too far from me is McIver State Park which has a mile-long trail with signs that teach about bats. Along the way, you pass an old barn that is the home of an estimated 2-3 thousand bats which are beginning to hibernate right now. You can go out to the park at dusk, lay on the grass, and watch the bats out hunting bugs.

I, too, stumbled a little when I heard that sentence and, after listening to it again, would recommend that you edit it out. Thanks for the extra work.
