Here is a great story from a newly favorite author of mine. Her writing fall into the Sci-Fi category, but often the sci-fi-ness is just incidental to the storyline. Like this one.

No spoilers, but it reminded me of LibriVox.

(Ok, gentle spoiler: LibriVox volunteers are pious.)

The last line in the story gets you "right here".
