two very interesting texts, cool additions for this project, thank you !!
I only have a few small notes for them:
PL notes for Aventuras de Juan Tuyá:
> at 0:05: you forgot "read in Spanish"
> at 3:32: (p. 137) missed bit in brackets "de Aguará Chaí (especie de zorro grande) y que en su..."
PL notes for Los Guaraníes y las misiones:
> at 0:05: also here insert "read in Spanish"
And now I realized that you forgot to say the language in the two Italian texts as well. I'm sorry I overlooked that bit last time would you mind reuploading with the added "read in Italian" as well ?
Sorry for the extra trouble.
Sonia

What is "cartejano" if I may ask ? A sort of Spanish dialect ? I've never heard of it before. Maybe I spelled it incorrectly, but that is what I heard.
Sonia
Oh, maybe my accent is not familiar. It's actually the word "castellano", which is how many people prefer to call the Spanish language in, well, castellano... maybe moving away from the Iberoamerican pole that used to skew the Spanish speaking cultural identity in the Americas, or to avoid saying Mexican, Colombian, Argentinian, etc. , when referring to the Spanish language as spoken in those countries. If English were called "British", using the word English for the language spoken with all the different regionalisms would be less UK-centric.
I'd better stop; I'm probably making my explanation very confusing!
This reminded me of a map I found interesting, showing the geographical distribution of the two names:

I guess this means I am in a stubborn minority...Kazbek wrote: ↑April 30th, 2023, 8:52 am This reminded me of a map I found interesting, showing the geographical distribution of the two names:
