No, Sonia, I prefer honneur, because that was a word used a lot over the last several hundred years in European culture and their colonies. Orgueil is really coloured with my personal prejudice. Thank you for drawing attention to it. Please use "honneur".

I asked my librarian about the noise, and she said, "no one would come here
if they weren't allowed to talk out loud." So I read out loud.

Je lis à haute voix car refléchir fait trop de bruit!

Hi!
I'd like to record this short tale in spanish
https://archive.org/details/AlbertCamusElHuesped
It's an open file but...Camus... I'm not sure if it is in the public domain, I must ask before, can you tell me please if I can record this to this collection?
Thanks!

Hi Perdida,

We can use scans of books whose title page shows a date of publication of 1927 or earlier (see the first post in this thread). Camus' original was published in 1942, so no translation of it would qualify in the near future.

Hi Michael. Thank you so much for your answer! I had read the first post but I ask because that book is an open file in archive.org and I had doubts. Thanks!!

a wonderful praise on art, very nicely interpreted and narrated, thank you Bernd !!! Great find for this collection.

I wasn't sure whether it was short enough for the shortened disclaimer, but I guess you fit just under 500 words. You probably counted them, so I trust you ;)

A couple of small edits though:

> at 1:15: (p. 293) "in einer wirklich menschlich-zärtlichen Hand" - you forgot "zärtlichen"
> at 2:45: (p. 294) "in deinen Tätigkeiten eingekapselt" - you say "diesen"

thanks, and I hope you enjoyed your holidays and come back refreshed
