thank you, Perdida, such an interesting poem and I loved the ending, when you say "cruz" in a softer tone. I wonder why the author didn't write the word and instead opted for a symbol ? But nicely done.

The time has come for an obligatory Polish entry It's really chapter 1 in a collection of stories (Pamiątki Soplicy), but they seem to be self-contained, so I'm posting it here.

Also, a question for the PLer. I've recently bought a microphone (you know, after 11 years ) and I keep changing its placement, on purpose or not. This recording in particular has many instances of a sound which I previously associated with me bumping my finger or foot against something... except I can't remember doing that. Could it be just the air hitting the mike?

Thank you, Piotrek! I've added the title of collection to the keywords. I'll let Sonia comment on the specifics of the noise, but in the theory the answer is yes. Shift the mic to the side, beyond the direct impact of the breath stream will help to avoid these issues.

honestly I couldn't really hear anything disturbing. At what time stamp exactly do you hear it for example ? But yes, as Michael already mentioned, putting the mic more to the side of your mouth helps, so you don't blow directly into it.

But for me this contribution is perfectly PL ok thank you !

no I also listened with headphones and I absolutely hear nothing disturbing at all. My ears are not the best but still, I cannot hear anything at these specific spots. So I think you need not worry overly about it.

Thank you so much Sonia! About the draw of the cross instead the word... I imagine it like a gesture we make in Spain crossing index fingers meaning the 'cruz' (an old gesture I think)

This book couldn't be recorded for LV yet (the current cutoff date being 1927) -- unless Project Gutenberg marks it as public domain in the US. See #1 above the MW for more detail.

There is a problem with the first Storiella however. Actually this storiella is only an excerpt from the story, entitled "Dell'attaccar lite". The story is a whole, and the example you are reading is the story the abbot is narrating here. We would need you to add the missing initial and end paragraphs here, so we can have the entire story. We don't take excerpts in this collection, only whole stories.

> as outro: "Fine de "Dell'attaccar lite, di Cesare Cantu" (without the title of the book)

For Qui, quae, quod just a few small edits needed:

> at 5:13: as outro, you can also cut the title of the book, technically it's not the book that ends but only the story. Say: "Fine di Qui, quae, quod, di Edmondo de Amicis"

As filenames you could also use the real title of the short stories instead of the book titles, to be precise
