LIBRIVOX: NEW PROJECT TEMPLATE GENERATOR doesn't generate the code in Safari nor in Chrome. Is there a problem?
Thanks,

It's the first we've heard of it.

I'll pass it on to those who might know something. Moving this thread over to... Error Reports, I guess. :)

Is it the issue with a new author or is that fixed?

Which author did you want to enter for the project, Adrian?

Can you provide more specifics? For example, id you pick the author from the dropdown list? or was it a new author that wasn't in the list?

It was fixed in the test environment, but still may be an issue.

Is anyone else still having trouble with this? Any time I try to submit the new project page and generate the forum code, I receive an error that the website is unable to handle the request. Thanks :)

Make sure there are no unusual characters, or extra spaces, in any of the fields.

I'm having this issue. It is a new author. Should I have you add the author and then try again?

Thanks,
Stephanie

What browser are you using? I think it might be brower-related, since some people aren't having a problem adding a new author.

Yes, you can share the author info, and we can add it from our end.

I’m using Chrome.

The author is a corporate one—Commissioner of Indian Affairs. (I had talked a while ago about starting up the collaborative project of recording some of the annual reports—this is the first one of those.)

The text is found at https://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=nyp.33433081678892.

Notice that the author is TECHNICALLY not right, but it’s the only way I could think of to keep the author the same, and this one is unique—although there are two short reports for 1825 and 1830 that I plan to read for the SNF collection, and I’d use this slightly anachronistic author.

Let me know if my reasoning needs correcting!

Sorry for the delay - I didn't get my usual new email notification.

The author is set up. I put it in as Commissioner of Indian Affairs, but also added a "pseudonym" of Bureau of Indian Affairs, so it can be found either way.

Thanks.

FYI, that fixed it for me, I think. I was copying and pasting most of the information--or using the autofill from earlier attempts--so there shouldn't have been any other differences.

This is very frustrating. I've tried to get a code four times now with two different browsers (Brave and Edge) and still get the error message: "This page isn’t working right now. Librivox.org can't currently handle this request. HTTP ERROR 500"

Any help?

Also in any dates field, only use numbers, or, if unknown, leave blank.
