Hi everybody! I've been listening to LibriVox books for forever, and I used them when I was teaching mythology and folklore courses, and now I am excited to join the community. My goal is to record folktale books, but I'm getting started by doing proof-listening. I was so excited to see the Panchatantra as a project because it is one of my favorite folktale collections of all time!

I write books of 100-word versions of folktales from around the world and I also write readers theater scripts based on folktales, and I've recorded those stories and scripts, but I don't really know a lot about recording, so I'm eager to up my game and learn more!

You can find my folktale books (all free ebooks, CC-licensed) at https://100Words.LauraGibbs.net, and the scripts for readers theater, also CC-licensed, at https://Scripts.LauraGibbs.net

That sounds super exciting!

Welcome to LibriVox, Laura! I'm new myself and I'm excited to record my first project. It's a fairy tale from the perspective of a water drop. It's great to have people like you with so much experience joining the project.

Have a great day! :)
