Here is section 61.
https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/slavenarrativesvol1_061_various_128kb.mp3
Duration: 09:08

It is too loud. More than a dozen times, I have saved the file with reduced amplification, exported it, checked the box to replace existing file, see the activation line filling up BUT I cannot fine the corrected file. It is not added to the desktop nor replaced in the old icon. It is not in my documents; it is not available through Finder. Sometimes I have used the Saved As in order to change the title of the adjusted recording. Of course the file name is determined. In desperation, I'm just sending it on to you. Sorry. I suppose I could trash everything, rerecord and watch that my amplification is less and trust checker will pass it.

Well, I'm not sure what the issue is.
I always get a pop-up asking if I want to replace the existing file, and then the save window. I've never had an issue with it.

Anyway, I've made the volume correction for you, uploaded it and marked it Ready for PL
Glad to help, so no worries. :)

Silverquill - I also corrected it but uploaded it with a v2 file name. When I went to post it I saw you had also updated the file. Are you able to delete the one I uploaded?

I really enjoyed listening to the narration. Nice work.

Re: Narrative of Emma Howard

Thank you so much for fixing my file. I've spent a lot of time with this. I noticed that the file was checked to send to photos! Since the last update of audacity, I must be really, really careful. Thank you for your patience and help.
