Welcome to the Drama forum! We are thrilled to have you here!

Couple quick things before you get started around here. I see that you submitted a 1-minute test a few months ago. However, there were a couple of technical issues that needed to be addressed. I would encourage you to revisit that post and make sure the audio you submit meets the technical specs required. Here is a link to your test so you can see what needs to be addressed:

Once your files meet the requirements, you are then free to browse all the variety of projects here at LibriVox. When you find one that suits your fancy, take a look at the Magic Window(MW) in the first post and look for a section that has ‘Open’ in the status column. Those are sections that are available for readers to claim. If you find one you would like to record, post in the thread that you would like to claim that section. The Book Coordinator(BC) will respond letting you know they have added your claim to the MW and then you can record your section. The MW will always have information on what to name your files and where to upload them when finished.

Projects here in the Drama forum have a lot of extra sections so not every section in the MW is available to be claimed (for example things like finished acts/chapters are not sections readers can claim). If you look at the MW for this project, the part of ‘Richard Carter’ is the only part currently waiting for a claim. All the rest of the sections have been organized for me, the BC and editor, to use in the assembled chapters.

I hope this helps you get started around here. Again, revisit your 1-minute test to make sure all technical specs are in tip top shape and then you are good to go! Hope to see you in a project or two!
