My Very Own Fairy Stories, by Johnny Gruelle (1880 - 1938)
For those who love the Raggedy Ann and Andy Series, Johnny Gruelle presents these very fine childrens' fairy tales. They are entertaining enough for adults and contain subtle yet helpful messages for the young about self esteem, industriousness, kindness and playfulness. He brings whimsy into his stories involving talking animals, living dolls, fairy-like creatures, and other magical beings. (Summary by Christine Rottger and helloladder)
• This project is now complete. All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/my-very-own-fairy-stories-by-johnny-gruelle/

This is an abandoned Solo being revived by brownrottger.

Source text (please read only from this text!): https://archive.org/details/myveryownfairys00gruegoog

Target completion date: 2022-05-15

Prooflistening level: Standard
Prospective PLs, please see the Guide for Proof-listeners.

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the number of languishing projects on our server, we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't recorded anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process unless you are the BC or PL. Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Hi Presley,
That's great. I'll MC this for you. I'll send you a private message on how to run your Solo project and access the MW.
Have fun!

Section 1 is PL Ok!
Excellent Dramatic Reading and the best diction I have heard in a reader so far!
Very enjoyable listening.
In future make sure there is 5 full second of silence at end. Not sure there was in Section 1 but I believe it was close enough.
Thanks!
