aha ! here is finally the smallprint to the day of Resis...Enola has to die with the king. Not such a great ceremony after all. I knew not everything would be roses here.

Another perfect chapter and PL ok. The opening scene with the dying elephants was heartbreaking :(

thank you

typical, and now they are prisoners. So it was too good to be true. Now they need to make their escape and rescue Enola as well.

Totally PL ok again, thank you, Jim

thank you for the fast turn-around, Jim. And totally PL ok again.

The bracelets on the wrists of only the elderly confirms my initial suspicion that they will be killed off on the day of Resis and that is the secret to their young and healthy population. They simply sacrifice the old and infirm. Horrible.

Here is the end, which you already figured out (smarty pants), except you don't know whether or not Enola marries the king. Here you can find out:

a happy ending, even for the zebras, I'm relieved about this. I needed a good ending for this story. And yes, the killing ceremony was one I expected somehow, a typical dystopia, actually the novel is quite modern in that aspect.

Another perfect run-through and PL ok, thank you so much for all your support in this project, Jim.

I believe I'm done with section 29. Fingers crossed and all that, but its unlikely as from what I remember if it isn't the pesky start and stop seconds of silences, its my ADD and probably dyslexic brain replacing or removing words entirely.

Sorry I had hope to get this done sooner but reading up to my sections took a little bit longer then I thought it would have.

Also much apologizes if my voice's are terrible, I still very well suck at doing them.
Hope you've had a good day :D

no need to apologize for anything. Your reading was excellent, your voice did not sound terrible to me, in fact I like how you gave the different men subtly different voices. Well done. Also textually, except for one small deviation, which is not changing the meaning at all, so it doesn't need to get mentioned, the whole thing was word perfect. What more could one want ?

Then ending silence is a standard 5 seconds, you have a bit over 4, but no need to reupload just for this, it's enough as such as well. Just maybe have one more second with your next file.

So: section 29 is absolutely PL ok. Thank you, looking forward to your next chapter :)

Oh Sweeeeet, that is diffidently the best I could have hoped for, just coming back like I am. :D Also I'm glad you didn't mind the voice's, I still got a lot to learn about doing voices but their coming a long.

This is my recording of Chapter 15. (14:19). I will get you chapter 16, I have been really sick and I have been having issues with learning how to edit in Audacity. Thank you for being patient.

thank you for your chapter, Bria...I did notice that you re-recorded from scratch, which I especially begged you not to do, as it would make a lot of more work for both reader and PLer. :? Your edits were only a few cuts, which was very easy to do once you get the hang of it.

And I noticed right at the beginning that there were other mistakes now. :? That's why I decided for now that the intial recording was the better choice, and for this time I edited the few stumbles out myself, which was less work for me than relistening to the whole again and write up new PL notes.

So this can be marked PL ok now.

If you have trouble editing, never hesitate to ask. Learning how to edit in Audacity is crucial. Re-recording is not an option all the time, especially not for such long chapters. Otherwise we would risk never to finish any project ;)

I will write you a private message to discuss this more in detail if you wish.

Oh and I hope you have recovered from your illness again. Looking forward to the next chapter. :)
