Hi Larry,

Just a quick catch up from my side. I have edited and uploaded 2 sections of the Kalahari book, but have not done any further editing re the Corner House girls. Things still extremely busy my side, but I miss the audiobooks so much.

How wonderful and caring re your trip to Mexico. Hope that if your wife has had her knee surgery that it went well.

Take care,
Leanne

Good to get your update, Leanne!

So many unpredictables. My wife's knee surgery had to be postponed, but should now happen on May 3. This pushes us a bit because we will have to leave here at the end of the month to get to an international convention where she needs to help at a booth, and where we hope to meet many of our friends from around the globe. Then on to the east coast again to spend the summer near our other daughter and grand children.

I'll have a short trip up to Oregon in May to spend a few days with my brother. His oldest son passed away suddenly from several complicated health issues. We just spent six weeks with them this fall. We'll have a memorial service.

I'm trying to find the link to a short video we have of the house build in Mexico. I'll send it along when I remember where it is. :hmm:

All the best,

~ Larry

Good morning Larry,

I bet you thought I had fallen off the planet, lol. Just wanted to send you a quick message to say hello, and that I am still alive and well. We have been extremely busy, this year has been a blur. Sadly my father in law passed away 2 weeks ago, and so off we went again, for the 4th trip to where he lived Cape Town in a month. We will miss him dearly, such a godly man, I could not have wished for a better father in law. He was 96 years and 7 months when he died. We had the memorial service last Thursday, and got back home on Sunday.

What with my day job, and sideline jobs and family matters, sadly my audiobook narrating has taken a back seat, but I hope to be able to devote time to it soon. I just have to edit my pre recorded work which I did over Christmas.

Kind regards
Leanne

I've read both or your messages.

My sincere condolences on the passing of your father-in-law. Bitter sweet times.
Be grateful for the joy he brought to your life.

I keep a large spread sheet of all my LV projects and so I see your name often as I scroll through my DPL projects, and wondered how you were getting along. I did know you were busy with a lot of these things. So, it is nice getting these updates. I'll look forward to hearing your voice again.

God bless!

Thanks so much Larry, yes, we absolutely cherish the very special memories of a remarkable, godly, and oh so special man.

Thank you again, and for your patience with me as I have not been keeping up with the narrating, just have not been able to settle this year, too much going on. But I miss it, and need to get back into the swing of that.

God bless
Leanne

Hi Larry,

I've finally found a bit of time to carry on with my narrating. I uploaded section 13 of Tales of the Kalahari, and as I had recorded a lot of sections some time ago, I will focus on that book and get them edited and uploaded for checking before I carry on with The Corner House Girls.

Take care,
Leanne

Hi Larry,

Just a quick one to say I have not forgotten about the Corner House Girls. I would just prefer to finish 7 Tales of the Kalahari first, then will focus on this one again. I've got 11 Sections left to record of Kalahari, hope to have them done by Feb / March, all things being equal. Just depends how busy I get, day job, and lots of tax matters to attend to end February, as well as payroll. I have 15 sections left to record / check of The Corner House Girls.

Take care,
Leanne

Not ready with any new sections, as I want to finish Kalahari first, but due to my quirkiness I like to keep my 2 books together, lol
Take care
