I'm willing to pick this up as MC, on the condition that TJ is willing to commit to stepping in as BC, should Jasmin decide she can't or doesn't want to continue with it.

Jasmin, this is not because I think you can't handle it or won't do a good job. But until you begin acting as BC, you don't really know what is involved. That's especially true for a DR, which is far more complex than other projects. Since you don't yet have any experience as a BC of any kind, I want you to feel that you have the freedom to bow out if you decide you don't like it. At the same time, though, LV (not to mention the volunteers who will sign up to read) needs some assurance that an experienced BC is able and willing to see this through to the end. :)

Yes, that's fine. I was helping with the story girl -- so I have some experience with coordinating (and waiting  ). And I've started editing my own parts, but TJ is planning on editing the chapters.

Thanks!

Thanks, Devorah!

Yes, that's a good plan. I will be editor, and back-up BC. But I have some other projects scripted and ready to launch (I'll post them over in the DR planning thread) and Jasmin has been waiting for over a year to get this project going -- she's already recorded a good portion of her parts. She didn't want to wait any longer, so I suggested she BC and she was excited about that plan. I'm sure she'll do great -- she's grown up on Librivox!
