I was agettin' a mite suspicious-like when we was a headin' off ta the parson by the enda Act 2. I was athinkin' it couldn'ta be quite that easy....

Thanks, Todd
Wal, there's plenty shenanigans, that's fo sho. The silliness should be entertaining when it's assembled!

Haha - That straight jacket line is great. Ed Roper 1,2,3 are all PL OK

Act 1 of Alice's part is ready for PL!
https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/breakingwinnie_alice_1.mp3

I'm still relative new to dramatic work submissions, so I've got a couple of questions:
Should we leave the 3-5 second gaps between sections of the same "line" when they're broken up by stage directions? (I did this, ex. around 5:52, but maybe I shouldn't have...)
Is it best practice to upload all Acts for one character at the same time? (If so, I'll make sure to with the rest--just wanted to post as soon as I had something this time since it'd been a while since I claimed.)

Thank you :) Act 1 is loaded and queued for PL

Yes - you did the correct thing, putting a gap where stage directions interrupt a line for your character.

Myself, I greatly prefer for people to upload act or chapter files when they finish them, rather than batching them together in one post (unless they're all going to be finished on the same day).

It breaks up the work load for me that way, and if it's the final character for a given act/chapter, that editing work can begin instead of waiting for the reader to finish all the other files their character is doing.

Other BCs may have other preferences?

What a nice Alice! (And I love your voicing approach for off-stage and staring-out-the-window lines)

The only thing is that there are two extra lines, I believe they were actually Winnie's. Could you please clip out the stretch from 3:23 - 3:32 and reupload Act 1?

The lines to be cut out are consecutive in the recording: "What do you know of Ed Roper?" and "You have confirmed that you have been reading my mail."

Haha! A gloriously perfect Winnie :)

Acts 1 and 3 are PL OK

Act 2 has a missing line at 3:44 - while you have the file open for editing, would you mind snipping out the pause at 6:27 first?

"It would please him if I did; since I didn't, he will have something to complain about."

No wonder those lines felt so out of place...
