Michele, again I have a question. Looking at Section 5, it appears that you have me reading a letter from Dr. Brooks to Helen, but not the subsequent letter from Dr. Holmes. Is that correct?

Edit: and in Section 6 this is shown:

To the Messrs. Bradstreet.
Helen and Miss Sullivan returned to the Perkins Institution early
in November.

36 TO MRS. KATE ADAMS KELLER
South Boston, Nov. 10, 1890.
My Dearest Mother:—My heart has been full of thoughts of you and
my beautiful home ever since we parted so sadly on Wednesday....

Is this correct?

In Section 7:

This letter was reproduced in facsimile in St. Nicholas, June,
1892. It is undated, but must have been written two or three
months before it was published.

Not bold?

In Section 8:

There is a letter (56) signed H. N. HIGINBOTHAM, should this be mine?

I can't imagine all the work it takes to set up something like this. A real labor of love.

Thanks for all your work.

Wayne

Thanks for these notes. I did my best to designate your part, however I scanned rather than read the text. Please use your own judgment according to: you read everything except what Helen herself has written.

Thanks! Alas, my computer has developed a keyboard issue and is unusable as I can't type anything. I am using my husband's old Satellite and IT IS CLUNKY!!!!! No Audacity. No checker. No Photoshop. All I can do is go online to check projects and write answers. Later today I plan on adding the programs so at least where Librivox is concerned I can function. Next I will see if I can access the MW.

I bring my own laptop to the shop today, and no telling how long it will be there. ARRRGGGGG!

I am sooooo glad that my daughter married a computer genius, and that they live 'next door' (in the country that is a relative term [no pun intended]). It has saved me a fortune over the years. :D

Sorry about the computer issues! It's always a pain when they fail and you have to switch to some other machine.

Finally, got computer back from shop and they were able to save my data to an external hard drive. Now to get it onto this new machine (actually my husband's old computer which I am learning to partition), find it, and get back in the saddle. So sorry for the delays. I can't wait to begin putting each chapter together. I know it's going to sound fantastic, and it's a part of Helen's story hardly anybody has ever heard.

That's great, glad they were able to save the data! Always the big fear with dying computers.

PL Note for Section 2:

Such nice assembly! Michele, your pacing is perfect between the commentary and letters, and the balance of volume is good. With two fantastic readers, this turns out really very nicely.

I have one question: In the original source, the letters are not numbered at all. Do you want to leave in the numbers, which are needed during the process for sorting, or do you want to pull them out?
