I can read this for you, unless you want a 'Yankee' accent

It is all yours. No Yank accent needed.

There is just one little correction to be made to an otherwise enjoyable recording.

At about 1:31 you have "Mrs Dana Gibson", Dana Gibson is not a woman, however, so it should read ""Mr Dana Gibson".

Sections 11, 12, and 14 are all PL OK. I had fun listening to them.

It was fun to listen to as well. I loved your accents. Quite entertaining.

The following sections are all PL OK: 18, 34, and 55.

:D
two completely different poems in many ways.

31 is PL OK

57 is well read as well. I enjoyed your complete lack of any emotion as you described killing all those wives. It is missing those final 5 seconds of silence at the end and then it will be PL OK.

I can see why you wanted those proverbs. That was humorous and also PL OK.

erieston wrote: October 21st, 2021, 2:13 pm Hello all! So sorry for the long wait on PL checks—earlier this month I seem to have found myself on the wrong end of a distracted driver  Not to worry! I'm fine now and finally home :9:

§49: ~0:26 I hear "At nine o'clock this very day" instead of "At nine o'clock o' this very day". I don't think it will change anything so I am fine marking it as PL OK, just wanted to bring it to attention in case it was an accident and you'd like to change it 😊
Ouch. Glad you are safe now. Thanks for your PL-ing.
Here's my correction: https://librivox.org/uploads/kazbek/verseandworse_49_graham_128kb.mp3

I couldn't tell where you changed it, so good job with the fix. It is PL OK.

PL NOTES:
§51: ~1:19 I hear "I live for it, I love it, I like it;" instead of "I live for it, love for it, like it;" I don't think it changes the meaning too much, but I've noted it in case the BC believes different.

Easy enough to fix:

Same time.

Glad you are back in action!
I listened to the whole poem. What an odd little poem.

As I listened I had no idea where you made the corrrection(s), so I have to say that you did a good job.

Thanks,

M
