thank you, Kerry, for this very enthusiastic and exciting narration. I felt in the thick of the action all throughout, you managed to read it very lively (and gruesomely...but that was the text, not you).

I remember our conversation and your apprehensions about background noise and I can set your mind at rest at least for this section. I am assuming you did a round of noise-cleaning, and the background noise as may be left is not at all disturbing. I also didn't hear any strange additional noises you may have missed in editing, so your ears are doing a perfect job still  The way you are doing right now seems absolutely fine for me and more "perfection" is definitely not required, it sounds perfect to me. I hope this helps :)

However there is another suggestion I may want to make, and this concerns the silent breaks between sentences. For most of the section you have a really good pacing, not too fast, not too slow. Only on four time stamps I would suggest cutting the lengthy pauses significantly. Over 2 seconds are too long for a listener who may be thrown out of the thick of the storyplot by a lengthy break. (and this story was quite exciting, so keeping them hooked is crucial). I always recommend not exceeding 2 seconds, in fact 1 second to 1.5 seconds maximum are usually enough, even between paragraphs.

Could you cut the silence down at the following time-stamps please ?

> from 9:45 to 9:47: (p. 383) between "delay of the pursuit" and "another shot"
> from 12:25 to 12:27: between "at the mother's feet" and "perhaps it was"
> from 19:17 to 19:19: between "Indian mothers" and "of all that family"
> from 21:37 to 21:39: between "her renown from his" and "End of section 7"

The rest is perfectly fine and nothing else to change here.

Thank you ! As soon as you reupload I predict it will be ok and we can proceed to cataloguing this issue. :9:
