Hello from Northern NY USA

Hello everyone!
I found this volunteer opportunity through my employer's volunteer portal (Verizon), and I'm very excited to begin!
I'm located in Northern NY - 30 miles south of Canada, about an hour north of Syracuse. We'll hopefully be moving within the next year to be closer to family and better job opportunities for my husband, who recently retired from the Army.
We have one son, who is nearly 18 months and into everything he can reach and most things he can't reach along with a dog, two cats, a pony and a horse.
