Each dictionary I've looked at says this:
vict·ual is pronounced /ˈvidl/

But what about the other forms of the word? Are all pronounced with "vidl" as their roots?

Thank you!
Peace be with you,
Sister

Wow, talk about unexpected pronunciation.

According to my favourite online dictionary, which I use for pronunciation too (click the little play button next to the word) it does indeed seem like the same root:

https://dict.leo.org/englisch-deutsch/victual

https://dict.leo.org/englisch-deutsch/victualling

https://dict.leo.org/englisch-deutsch/revictual
Cheers, Ava.

Hmm. Is this where we get "vittles" from?
