Matching pronunciation and intonation

Howdy! I'm a newb.

Now that I've had my one-minute test approved, I want to start volunteering to read book chapters. I'm thinking of claiming some chapters here:
viewtopic.php?f=21&t=86998&p=1926535#p1926535

Some of the chapters have been assigned, but I can't listen to anything yet. What's the best way to make sure I'm matching the pronunciation of other readers when it comes to unusual names? Also, if there are a couple of main characters, how do I make sure that I'm differentiating their voices in a similar way to the other readers, so that there aren't jarring breaks for the listener?

Thanks!

That link you posted leads to your 1-minute test so I don't know what project you are thinking of volunteering for.

Regardless, the best place to ask those questions is in the project thread itself. Then the BC (book coordinator) can let you know exactly what their expectations are for how the project will work.
