I wasn't quite sure where to place this question, so... Well, here goes.

Herrick wrote quite a few (I mean a lot) of short poems. Quatrains and quatrains and epitaphs and epigrams and some longer pieces. He's quite good, though if one listens to him at one sitting, he can be monotonous.

I have a 50-minute essay about Herrick and his poetry recorded and could place this in the non-fiction collection, I suppose, but I'm wondering if, instead, I create a a little project that combines the essay with a number of short sections that highlight Herrick's various kinds of works. Just the best of them (in my opinion.)

Is it right to create this kind of amalgamated project?

I'm trying to create a kind of lecture with examples for the listener. (Obviously not my lecture. We want the listener to stay awake!)
