You'll have to find an early-edition online text or buy the secondhand book and scan it yourself, but I have just noticed that the original 1946 novel of "Mister Roberts" ... though not the play or screen adaptations ... is now PD, as the author Thomas Heggen's DOD was 19 May 1949 at the early age of 30.
