now that was a funny text, but I already read some other stories by Twain and I know his sense of humour. You've narrated it wonderfully, Katharina.

There are a few stumbles inside your recording, which could still be cut out. This is very easy in Audacity, simply enlarge the waves very big with the magnifying glass. Then you can accurately cut the bit that is double. (There is no need to re-record, because that would be too much trouble both for the reader and for the PLer and chances are high there may be other errors in the new recording. We highly encourage editing over re-recording )

So here is what needs doing:

> at 3:20: (p. 18) stumble and repeat: "und begegnete unter – unterwegs"
> at 4:42: (p. 19) stumble and repeat: "mit viel Geschick zu ha – behandeln"
> at 5:56: (p. 20) "und trieb mir schliesslich die Erkältung aus dem Kopf in die Lunge" – I think you say "trieb mich"
> at 7:07: (p. 20) "dort machten wir den Tag über Segelfahrten" – I think the first word got cut out by mistake, there's a sort of jump in the audio

It's a funny story where the author describes treatments he tried to cure his cold. I'll remember to leave out the the underscores in future, thanks for letting me know. I'm new to this and learning,
