Hi Phil,

I have completed my recording but now really hesitant to post. I'm a UK based reader and for some reason kept thinking 1953 was the cut off for copyright but double checked and it's 1949. I can't find anything about copyright for this particular story just in case so not sure what to do! If you know anything let me know and I will be happy to upload for PL, but if not I'm afraid I will have to 'forfeit' and apologise for delaying the story completion.

Hope you have a lovely Christmas,

Best wishes
Mina

Have you figured this out? Is the UK a 'death+ 70 yrs' country? The recording is PL OK, but I don't want to run over anyone.

I don't know what the PD status is for you, so I'll let y'all decide if we can go with this or not.

Thanks!

I'd rather not let it go if it's status is still unclear! I do apologise.

Here's what the LV guidelines are, not that I claim to understand it!

I do believe that Mina's recording of chapter 15 is OK as to it's public domain status. The status is always confusing but seems to me to be just fine in this case. No problems and we can go with it. :D

So who is this project waiting for? Confirmation from me that all is PL OK? Or confirmation from Mina that she's OK with leaving in her section? Or a time slot for Phil to work on it? :hmm:

All clear from my perspective...

I'm sorry I had a very busy and stressful day and didn't get time to check these messages. I personally would prefer not to have my recording included as I understand I'm the one liable. I did mention earlier, it's just quite confusing and I would rather stay safe! So please do remove my contribution, I'm sure someone will snap up my chapter in no time!
I hope you understand, thanks again.

Oh, I did not know you definitely wanted it excluded and thought you were leaving it to my decision. But OK, I will remove this project from the catalog and take your section out. It might take awhile to do all this but will let you know when it is done. Please keep on recording other things that you feel comfortable about and have a great new year.
