That's it for tonight. I have all the rest of Lenorme's lines recorded. I did them for the whole rest of the book, in fact, so that I wouldn't change his voice too much. But I still need to redo Malcolm from chapters 22-28, and I don't know when that'll be done. But we are getting back on track!

Buckling down to this again! I am going to do my best to push through and at least get a little bit of new material recorded! I will likely be moving in a couple of months, so I will try to do as much as possible in this recording space, before I have to set up a new and different one.

Ok! Chapter 22 is ready for a new PL! I don't have time stamps for you, because this chapter had a whole lot of speeches for both Malcolm and Lenorme. But, since you said you have enjoyed listening straight through, I hope that isn't a problem. I have to say, I am much happier with the result of each of them having a more distinct voice. I just wish it hadn't taken me so long! Or that I had been doing these from the beginning. Ah, well. The next one I might just do a whole new recording, rather than pasting in retakes. It has even more speech from both of them!

23 is also ready for a new PL. I'm not entirely happy with it. In spite of my very best efforts, I think neither accent is really consistent, not to say accurate. And it's probably more of a Frankenstein chapter, cobbled together from recordings done at vastly different times and circumstances, than anything I've ever submitted. But I have to just call it done.

22 is PL OK! And I just listened through 23 also but won't get onto my computer to use Checker on it till next week. I ran 22 through it right away but then camped all the past week in a valley with no cell-phone reception. (Lovely!)

But as far as the sound of 23 goes, that is PL OK too! What a huge job you had... And a successful one in my opinion! I know the feeling of wondering how different voices will sound when recorded over a long time. But this chapter had a very unified feel.

And 25 is ready as well! 26 and 27 don't have anything I need to redo, as far as I can tell. Feel free to have another listen to them, if you want, of course. I will probably listen to 27 myself sooner or later, because I remember there was some good stuff in it.

28 has some of Malcolm and some of Lenorme as well. I'm starting on that now, and then we will be on to new material!
