Hello Cat
Your recording was clear and of good audio quality, and background noise was minimal. Your voice is also very pleasant.
However, it was a touch on the loud side. If you reduce the volume by 1 - 2 db it would meet the required specification.
I noted that there were a few plosives (popping 'p' sounds.) It would be worth your getting or making a pop filter to minimize these.
This video has some useful information about pop filters:

Hello,
I spoke a little further from the mic this time with a metal pop filter in between. I think that reduced the volume a bit, and diffused the plosives. I hope this setup sounds better.

Thanks in advance for the technical feedback. I've signed up for a chapter and hope to get started soon!

Hi
Sound quality was very good and there were no obtrusive plosives this time.
Volume has a tad low - if it were raised by about 2 db it would be fine. When you check the volume on Audacity the peak should be about -4 to -5 dB.
I think that you can go ahead and record.
I look forward to haring more of your voice.
Cheers
