Hello,

I am writing to ask whether it is possible to contact one of your readers to correct an upload mistake. The book I am listening to, Notre Dame de Paris by Victor Hugo, read in French by Romy Riaud, lacks a key chapter, chapter 1 of book 6 (Coup d'oeil impartial sur l'ancienne magistrature), which was mistakenly replaced by a copy of chapter 1 of book 1 (La grand' salle). It would be great if the missing chapter could be uploaded as it contains a turning point of the novel.

Thank you in advance for your kind help!

Best wishes and a thousand thanks for this amazing app and all its volunteers!!!

Molly

The only French version we have is here: https://librivox.org/notre-dame-de-paris-by-victor-hugo/
Those chapters were read by Jc Guran, not Romy Riaud, and using my limited French, they appear to be the correct files.

You mentioned an app. Is it possible the recording is from another source and not LibriVox? Does each file start with "This is a LibriVox recording" in the first few seconds of the start?

a quick google search of the reader mentioned by the original poster leads to this website:

https://librivox.bookdesign.biz/book/102880

which has "librivox" in the URL and also offers apps for iOS and Android called "LibriVox Audio Books App", but doesn't seem to be associated with librivox.org.
their imprint is here: https://www.bookdesign.biz/

The app has a free (well 99 cents last time I heard) version which will give you the LV books and also has books (not LV) that you need to pay for - it does confuse some people at times.
The book mentioned comes from http://www.litteratureaudio.com/
