Hello Rachel! Welcome to Librivox!

Your tech specs are correct! One small concern is the white background noise, it's low enough not to worry too much about it, but I think some Noise Removal in Audacity would make a difference. Here is a guide if you'd like to give it a try https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Noisecleaning_With_Pics
or check to see if you can minimize any noise sources, like laptop fan.

Let me know if you're happy with the results the Noise Removal tool gives you, or if you have any questions.

Hi,
Thanks for listening to my test. I reduced the noise reduction from 12 dB to 6dB and increased the frequency smoothing bands from 3 to 6 and kept the sensitivity at 6.00 as recommended with the link you gave me. The background noise is less and I’m happy with the results. Would you like me to submit a 2nd test or should I move forward as being approved? You can credit me as Rachel Vince in the catalogue with no link to a website.
Thanks for your help,
ravin4
