The gentle art of making enemies by Whistler, James McNeill, 1834-1903;

Goodreads: "...a classic in the literature of insult and denigration...a highly entertaining account of personal revenges ....but also the best statement of the new aesthetics versus the old guard academics, and it helped greatly in shaping the modern feeling toward
art."

I don't get this.

If you want to piss off people, surely there's no need to take a "gentle" approach?
Please don't tell me I have been doing things wrong my entire life. :hmm:
Cheers,
Ava.
