Can I have all from The Cuscuses (whatever animal is that
) to the end? Sections 64 to 67.

Keep your mind here and now, where it belongs.
Thanks, MaryAnn, section assigned. Hope your cat doesn't have to deal with those though.MaryAnnSpiegel wrote: ↑February 15th, 2020, 7:13 pmSquirrels

I had to find out about those cuscuses... so there is section 64, duration 21:02
By the way, the author of this book has a very nice writing style - easy to read, lively and interesting. Definitely not one of those science books that make you shudder at every page-long sentence.

Thanks, Kristine! Yes, I know, I was pleasantly surprised myself. I am even considering putting the second volume up for reading when this one is done.Kikisaulite wrote: ↑February 16th, 2020, 1:00 pmI had to find out about those cuscuses... so there is section 64, duration 21:02

I'm a little confused on how to introduce the recording of Section 2
I was going to proceed as follows:
"The living animals of the world, Volume 1: Mammals,
by Charles Lewis Cornish, editor
Chapter 1 Apes, Monkeys, & lemurs.
Section 2: The Gorilla, The orang-utan, & The Gibbon.
The Gorilla etc as per the book
Is this OK or would you preferr something else?

I also wasn't sure about the intro. So I only said "The octodonts" as this is the beginning of my chapter in the book, even though in the MW the title is much longer. I hope that was correct.
Here is the section on bunny's larger family. The rabbit gets only a few lines as an afterthought as it is apparently "too well known"
what a let-down.
