I've tried to unsubscribe to the "Audacity, I've got a problem" thread several times and yet I still get notifications. Is there a bug?

See if they go away when you remove it from your "watched" in the control panel (it's under your username in the top right corner of this page).

I can't imagine there would be a bug. If so, all internet forums using the same software would have the same bug. :)

Are you subscribed to the entire "Need Help? Got Advice?" forum?

If you can't get that thread to unsubscribe, you should not get any more notifications if you never revisit it. That's a last-resort option.

I've tried both those suggestions so hopefully it may work.

That's very odd, I thought I was the only one. It has finally ended though. Also, maybe you were getting quoted there, but I can't imagine you wouldn't notice. This has happened to me in a couple of other threads but it usually goes away after a day or two.

I think it may have worked now as I've unsubscribed to the whole forum.
