Hello! I had some delay in getting my forum account activated but I had a free day today so I went ahead and recorded Chapter 10 anyway, before claiming/checking.

This is the first I've done one of these, and I realize that I should have done a shorter test recording first, so I completely understand if this isn't acceptable and rejection or criticism are welcome:

Hello Ben, welcome to Librivox. I hope you will enjoy here. We will use your recording of chapter 10. Our proof listener would tell you if there are things to fix, but my policy as a book coordinator is to try if possible to use recordings by new readers even if they did not submit a test recording. Just please let us know under which name you would like to be credited in the catalogue: it can be your real name, your forum name, or something else that you choose. In addition, please let me know if you want to sign up for more chapters because it would be rather tragic if you work on a chapter and someone else claims it. Regards,
