Chapter 1 is PL OK! My was there a long sentence in there, without a coma even! "Perhaps it was because you and David and I were talking last night about what he should say about General Darrah when he made the presentation of the sketches of the statue out at the opening of the art exhibition in the Temple of Arts to-night..."

Great reading everyone! Looking forward to Chapter 2. :D

Elijah - any chance of moving faster on PL'ing this? Perhaps we could ask for help?

A chapter a week isn't exactly what we had in mind, I think. ;)

Also, Elijah, to help you out, a family member has listened for me through the chapters, so I will mark those PL OK that we are sure of. The ones I've made changes to and need checking I'll leave for you.

Chapter 10 will need a check... I'll get back on here in a bit to mark/unmark any others. Could you start there? Please and thank you.

OK, I think 8 and 10 will need an extra listen. The rest are fine.
