I think the General of Ellebubu would be best, actually. I'm hoping for a male voice for the Emir, if possible.Pinklady77 wrote: ↑September 12th, 2019, 6:40 pm Sure I'd be happy to take the general too.Emir of Ellebubu or whichever one you think I fit best.

I'll take a look and review those when I get back from my business trip. I might be willing to do another small one. <Grin>Elizabby wrote: ↑September 12th, 2019, 6:22 pmThanks Chuck! The Captain is now PL OK! I loved his characterisation - can I tempt you to take any other parts?chuckconvr wrote: ↑September 7th, 2019, 1:24 pm Well dang it all. I never noticed. Not sure I got them all, but here is another go.

A bit longer than the first one. I went back to the raw files and re-encoded, etc.

If you can cope with a fairly long read, there's Golden Jay Leader who tells the story of the discovery of America?
Or for smaller parts there's all the warriors of Sections 12 and 13, there's a chief, his son and the general of the opposing tribe?
Or for just a one-liner there's the villain Jack Wilkins who just says “Move an inch and you're a dead man!”

Thanks so much, everyone, and especially Beth for getting all that PLing done!
Thanks Leanne, these are all PL OK! I love the expression you've given Dab-Dab, especially in narrating the long story about the cat, and the snort before saying "The office is full of snake!"leanneyauyau wrote: ↑September 9th, 2019, 7:44 am https://librivox.org/uploads/kathrinee/drdolittlespostoffice_dabdab_01_128kb.mp3 0.25 KB Clear

Should I read this with an African accent or just use my regular voice?Elizabby wrote: ↑September 12th, 2019, 6:55 pmI think the General of Ellebubu would be best, actually. It's your decision, really. I'll never ask someone to use an accent they're not comfortable with. (It never sounds good anyway.) But if you are comfortable with it, and think it would add to your character, then feel free! You can play your character however you think is appropriate.Pinklady77 wrote: ↑September 13th, 2019, 1:07 pmShould I read this with an African accent or just use my regular voice?Elizabby wrote: ↑September 12th, 2019, 6:55 pmI think the General of Ellebubu would be best, actually. Here is Jack Wilkins. As there was but a single line, I include 3 versions to choose from.

Here are the 2 files for Chief Nyum-Nyum.
Each file also includes the "Crowd" lines for that section.

The General is all PL OK, but could you please read us the "crowd" lines as well? We'd like to get a crowd sound, so everyone can read for the pale orange lines. Even if you only read the line "Magic! Don't let his eye fall on you!" That would be great - just stick it in at the end of this file.Pinklady77 wrote: ↑September 14th, 2019, 9:52 am Hello
