Hello and welcome to LibriVox! I left my comments on your one minute test over in that thread. You only have to fix a slight volume issue and then you'll be good to go to record for here. In the meantime, I will save your sections for you.

Before I can put you down in the system as claiming these sections, I have to enter how you want to be known in the catalog. Do you want to be known by your forum username, your real name, or a pseudonym?

Hello Eddie and welcome to LibriVox! I would highly recommend reading this page https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Audacity_1-2-3#configure to review the technical specifications that LibriVox requires. While your podcast recording is lovely and shows that you have a good recording set up, I just need to verify that you understand how to meet LibriVox's technical criteria. You can either complete a one minute test (https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/1-Minute_Test) or, since these sections are so short, you could submit the first minute of section 18 under the one minute test thread. I wouldn't want you to record in entirety section 18 just in case there is something terribly wrong with your technical specifications and had to redo.

Anyway, in the meantime, I will save this section for you. Do you have a preference as how you will be identified in the catalog? Do you want to be known by your forum username, your real name, or a pseudonym?

My first recording outside of the 1 minute test so I hope it passes PL ok!
Thank you! I put it in the MW. Can you tell me how long in minutes/seconds your recording is?

Also, you're almost completely good to go - you just have a tiny stumble at ~5:03. Can you just cut that out? :D

Thank you Elsie.

I read the librivox specifications and my recording settings have been adjusted accordingly.
I already recorded a 1minute test and posted it in the listeners forum. Do I have to post that recording here as well? I would like to be identified as (Eddie Kigozi).

Oh no! I’ll hop on over and look at the one minute test when I have a chance (I’m about to head off to work). Also, do you want your podcast url linked to your LibriVox catalog name because I can do that as well :)

Great thanks. It's more work than it seems to record a section! Mad respect to the folks contributing entire books.

Hopefully I'll contribute again when I get some more time.

It’s night before it’s afternoon.
December is here before it’s June.
My goodness how the time has flewn.
